I believe in God the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord: who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried, the third day he rose from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and sitteth at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.
PASTORAL PRAYER & LORD’S PRAYER Rev. Carnahan
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come; thy will be done; on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory, for ever. Amen.

Dallas First UMC has hosted the River of Life Mission for 26 years! During this five-day event, our youth, young adults, and adults have visited numerous sites to spread the love of God to those who need it.
Thank you to Hopewell UMC, McEachern Memorial UMC, and Due West Methodist for all their hard work. With your participation, we were able to make deck repairs for 12 families and build a wheelchair ramp, serving numerous people in Paulding County.
Another thank you to our speakers, Bishop Robin Dease, Rev. Dr. Carolyn Stephens, Rev. Dr. Adam Roberts, Rev. Sam Hopson, and Rev. Julianna Sunrich, as well as to the ROL Band. Finally, thank you to every adult volunteer who made this week possible.
We look forward to seeing everyone again in 2027 for year 27 of ROL!
