Community MLK Day The 10th Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. event will be held on January 20th,
from 10-12:30 p.m. at Mars Hill Baptist Church in Dallas, GA. There will be a combined Community
Choir if any members want to participate. Please contact Evangelist Tammy Scott at 770-380-3425.
Endowment Board Announcement The Endowment Board approved an Endowment Spending Policy
and a Funding Request Fund for members and committees to make requests to the Board. Both can be
found on the church website under the Resources tab.
Office Closed The church office will be closed on Monday, January 20th, in observance of MLK Day.
WOW Dinner Join us for WOW Dinner on January 22nd starting at 5:30 p.m.. The menu will be:

Third & Fourth Grade Bibles This is open to any fifth-grade students who have not completed the
course. We will meet on January 22nd and 29th at 4:30 p.m. in the Light It Up room. All students must
have an adult attend with them! Please register online or in the eblast by January 12th.
Bible Study Join Mrs. Candy Anderson for our adult Bible Study on Wednesdays after WOW. She will
be leading a study on Galatians, Accepted & Free by Jada Edwards.
GriefShare We will be hosting a one-time session of GriefShare: Loss of a Spouse on Saturday,
January 25th, from 10-12 p.m. You can register at www.griefshare.org/loss. Please see Mickey Gazaway

Superbowl Sunday Youth Fundraiser Lunch Help support our youth going to Camp Glisson by
joining us on February 2nd, after the 11 a.m. service in the FLC. Tickets are $10 each and you can pay at
